When you wake up on a beautiful Saturday morning, it’s nice to be able to go out and bask in the sun’s early morning warmth. This is exactly the reason why covered patios are created. Many people decide to add patios to their homes in order to have a place outside of the home to relax and enjoy good weather.
However, like with any house parts, people do encounter some problems with their patios. If the weather is too hot like during summer and you don’t have a roofed patio, then you’d rather stay inside than be scorched under the blazing hot sun.

Many people including myself love relaxing around our hammered copper fire pits. Because of this it is important that we take very good care of our hammered copper fire pits so that we can use them for a long time to come.
One of the worst things you can do is to pour cold water onto the flames in your hammered copper fire pit. The rapid change in temperature from cold to hot can have adverse effects on the unit; the unit could chip or crack. If it is necessary to quickly put out the fire in your hammered copper fire pit then it is much safer to smother the fire with sand. (more…)
