This is the major reason you want a gazebo–to protect you from the summer weather. Unfortunately the covers of canopies are not very durable. The canopies are often unsuitable after one to two years, however, the gazebo canopy will last a lot long. Most stores can provide you with replacement canopies that will meet higher standards and more varieties–letting you pick the best one for yourself.

The standard canopy is made out of polyester or poly-vinyl and are low fabric grades. This allows the manufacturer to cut the cost of building a gazebo. This is because the canopy is such an important part of the functionality of the gazebo. Without the canopy, the gazebo would not function. This is why it must be held to higher standards, that allow it to function a lot better than the one you bought with the gazebo.

You can find many replacement canopies at your local retailer. This includes stores like Wal-Mart, Sears, Target, and many more. You should make sure to purchase canopies with a higher fabric level so that it provides a good amount of protection for you. You can also check the internet. Online there is a company named Garden winds that provides large selections of replacement canopies at good price. They also replace the canopies from most major retailers.
